Nestled in the quaint, family-oriented community of El Dorado Hills, sits our cozy, yet lively, pizzeria with a bright red sign that reads: “Viscuso’s Pizza & Draft House.” It was one of the biggest accomplishments of our lives being able to see our name emerge on our own business.
Sandi and I met in the mid 1980’s while attending Sacramento State. I was a Business Major and Sandi was in Marketing & Communications. We were next door neighbors and friends for a few years and she refused to date a neighbor. Then, things got serious and we married in February of 1992. We have two beautiful daughters, Sabrina and Shawna. Oh, ask us over a beer to hear each of our stories as to how we got so serious and you determine which one of us is telling the truth!
We have always had a passion for good food, friends, and family. So, wanting to control our own destiny in life, we began our restaurant career in July of 2008 with a franchise based organization. We grew to multiple locations within the first 6 years however, we started to realize our vision and ideas were not the same as the corporations.
We sought to implement our own ideas, bold flavors, and a desire to run things as we see fit with our customers and friends experience in mind and only having to answer to ourselves. So, in January of 2022 we took the leap and left the franchise to rebrand our business as our own.
We believe our restaurant has become a town favorite not just for the mouthwatering pizzas and great beer selection, but for the warmth of the space itself. People come for the food but, stay for the laughter and good times echoing throughout the restaurant. We also host a variety of parties, social events, school fundraisers and much more.
But through it all, we have never lost what made our restaurant special. It is all of you that support our restaurant. Viscuso’s is not just a place to eat. It is a place built on friendships, flavor, and good beer.
